The weather at the start of the month of September was lovely, but in typically British fashion, it soon went downhill very rapidly, and any hopes of an Indian summer soon evaporated!
It seemed like it had been raining forever, and in the days leading up to Sarah & Mike’s wedding, it didn’t improve in the slightest! Well, there’s nothing you can do about it, so our preparations had to go ahead just as usual.
We picked up Sarah and her father from Great John Street Hotel in Manchester city centre to the ceremony at St Joseph’s RC Church in Longsight. After the ceremony, the guests threw dried flower confetti, and the smell of lavender filled the air, even Florence smelt of lavender!
The couple held their reception at Victoria Baths – such a gorgeous venue, the Edwardian-style swimming baths has a stunning interior.
And the exterior is just as gorgeous, giving us the perfect opportunity to take some more photographs. Typically, the rain then stopped! We wish Sarah and Mike all the best, they kept smiling through all the rain showers!
