On a blustery, showery day in March, we were one of the selected suppliers to appear at Indie Wedding Fair in FiveFour Studios, Salford.
The venue is amazing, lots of airy, white space with lots of quirky details – and a lovely bar area.
The event brought together some great creative wedding suppliers and it was good to talk to lots of brides-to-be – some of whom were way ahead with their wedding planning! One lady told me that she’d always wanted a classic Fiat 500 after first seeing one on a family holiday when she was a child – so she was very excited to enquire about hiring Florence as a nostalgic touch on her wedding day. It’s always lovely to hear people’s memories of when they first saw a Fiat 500!
Of course, she wouldn’t be complete without her picnic basket (although it was definitely not picnic weather!) with a heart-shaped ‘And They Lived Happily Ever After’ sign attached.
It was a cold day with sleet showers unfortunately, but model Flic Jackson, who was wearing a beautiful Anna Campbell Bridal dress for Jean Jackson Couture, agreed to have some photos taken with Florence, which we really appreciate as we’re sure she must have been freezing cold!
Many thanks to Ellie Grace Photography for taking some lovely photos on the day, some of them we’ve included below.
